Kingdom Come: Deliverance Rewards You For Being a Virgin

Warhorse Studios’ upcoming epic-sized historical RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance is merely a week from being released – as such the game’s trophy list and achievements have been leaked.

The list of trophies for the PlayStation 4 version are naturally spoiler-filled, so browse at your own risk. In the age of western RPGs shoving in countless sexual encounters, one trophy/achievement stood out from all the rest – remaining a virgin.

The achievement itself is called “Virgin” and is granted when you “stay celibate and complete the entire game as a virgin.” If you’re the type to stick your genitals into every hole you pass, there are also achievements like “McLovin” and “Casanova” for completing various romance stories, as well as some like “Dance with the Devil” and “Bad Trip.”

Here’s a rundown on the game, via Warhorse Studios:

You’re Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Thrust into a raging civil war, you watch helplessly as invaders storm your village and slaughter your friends and family. Narrowly escaping the brutal attack, you grab your sword to fight back. Avenge the death of your parents and help repel the invading forces!

Bohemia – located in the heart of Europe, the region is rich in culture, silver, and sprawling castles. The death of its beloved ruler, Emperor Charles IV, has plunged the kingdom into dark times: war, corruption, and discord are tearing this jewel of the Holy Roman Empire apart.
One of Charles’ sons, Wenceslas, has inherited the crown. Unlike his father, Wenceslas is a naive, self-indulgent, unambitious monarch. His half-brother and King of Hungary, Sigismund the Red Fox, senses weakness in Wenceslas. Feigning good will, Sigismund travels to Bohemia and kidnaps his half-brother. With no king on the throne, Sigismund is now free to plunder Bohemia and seize its riches.

In the midst of this chaos, you’re Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Your peaceful life is shattered when a mercenary raid, ordered by King Sigismund himself, burns your village to the ground. By bittersweet fortune, you are one of the few survivors of this massacre.

Without a home, family, or future you end up in the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla, who is forming a resistance against the invasion. Fate drags you into this bloody conflict and shoves you into a raging civil war, where you help fight for the future of Bohemia.

Key Features:

  • Massive realistic open world: Majestic castles, vast fields, all rendered in stunning high-end graphics.
  • Non-linear story: Solve quests in multiple ways, then face the consequences of your decisions.
  • Challenging combat: Distance, stealth, or melee. Choose your weapons and execute dozens of unique combos in battles that are as thrilling as they are merciless.
  • Character development: Improve your skills, earn new perks, and forge and upgrade your equipment.
  • Dynamic world: Your actions influence the reactions of the people around you. Fight, steal, seduce, threaten, persuade, or bribe. It’s all up to you.
  • Historical accuracy: Meet real historical characters and experience the genuine look and feel of medieval Bohemia.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is launching across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 13th of next year.

  • Maintenance Renegade

Kind of a clickbaity title that implies a gameplay mechanic whereas it’s apparently just one of many cheevos meant to encourage repeat playthroughs.

  • Feniks

Yeah no SHIT. I don’t think people understand what the world was like before birth control pills.

  • Finally a game I can self insert properly!

  • RichardGristle

A world without government-subsidized single motherhood.

  • And that’s a pre-order!

  • Donwel

I don’t think birth control pills would have stopped the rampant spread of STDs though to be fair.

  • Mr0303

    Thots begone!

  • Mechonis

    The medieval age understands me

  • Squirrel on crack cocaine.

Hmmm, big problem though is it means multiple replays to get the 1,000g for the game and that really puts me off a little. These are the kinds of games I never like to restart like Elder Scrolls for example.

    Can’t wait for NEXT YEAR!

  • Ithaca TrenchGun

It’s nice that a game finally rewards players for being themselves!

  • nine_ball

Does it unlock a hidden magic system for NG+?

I don’t think you get rewarded for dropping your drawers around your ankles and doing the deed in front of a computer/TV screen

  • totenglocke

I’d call the title misleading. A pop-up is hardly a reward.

  • NordicRainy

But, it’s coming out next week O.o

  • Ricardo

    And that’s a pre-order!

  • InfectedAI

Eh, some people really care about that crap. There’s another guy complaining because he wants to be able to get more achievements without replaying the game. Imaginary points that do nothing mean a lot to some people for some reason.

  • totenglocke

    We call those people “morons”.

  • bdp

Now the question is can you get STD’s in this?

  • Kakaku

Have separate save file before any sex based quests. Beat the game a virgin, reload the old save for a 100% run, and then beat it again.

Could also speed run the game. Western RPG plots aren’t really that long to begin with. Even The Witcher 3, one of the most praised RPGS of the decade, could be finished in an afternoon.

Or accept that Xbox gamerscore is ultimately pointless and just play the game however you want. Got plenty of options.

  • Magnifico Ginormous

    Anal option or no buy.

  • Agrias Oaks

Condoms are far older than birth control.

  • sanic

I’m worried I’ll suck at this game too much to enjoy it.

  • s_fnx

    That’s what I call realism.

A reward? Like what in game function does Virginity provide? Come on @Brandon, give us the details? Oh its an achievement on the PS4 only. k. How do you flag articles for flagrant abuse of click-bait? Can you report articles to management?

  • Qwaserzero

New achievement/Trophy name should be “Now you are a true Wizard”.

  • SevTheBear
  • RPG

If the females in this game look like the one in that thumbnail, then getting this achievement will be easier than I would have thought.

  • Random Dude

Nah, you just have to make it to level 30+

  • Cy

Also confirming romance is totally skippable, thank god. The only thing I was worried about with this game was some forced heterosexual romantic subplot. In games like this romance should always be optional and I’m happy to see the devs realize that.

  • Feniks

My mom was a single mother for 5 years. But unlike the lazy pussies of today she worked in a factory instead of claiming benefits.

  • La Sleepyraptor

Don’t qoute me as i don’t remember but i don’ t think they had condoms back then or any form of protected sex at all but I’m pretty sure that they had plants and herbs to help either prevent pregnancy or to kill the fetus in the womb

  • SiliconNooB

The thot patrol is real y’all!

  • Victor

    Wenches BTFO.

  • Mavik

I guess we can expect a feminist outrage?

  • Mavik

that’s how a real woman looks like. what you see in adult shows are all fake women.
