Space Invaders Extreme and Groove Coaster Heading to PC via Steam in February 2018

Taito and Degica Games have announced both Space Invaders Extreme and Groove Coaster are coming to PC.

Both titles will launch for PC via Steam sometime this February. Only the Space Invaders Extreme Steam page is up right now. Featured above, you can view the announcement trailer for both games.

Here’s a rundown for Space Invaders Extreme:

The critically acclaimed update to the Space Invaders franchise is here to invade Steam with greatly improved graphics and audio!

Packed with pulsing, vibrant visuals enhanced further by interactive sound. The invaders have evolved, the question is: can you keep up?

The Steam version adds a brand new World Ranking System for Arcade Mode. Learn the intricacies of the scoring system and use that knowledge to conquer the leaderboards!

Who will prevail in this battle to become the world champion?!

Man I rather have Space Invaders Extreme 2. That was pretty fun.

Yay! Groove Coaster on the iOS is the shit! No internet connection needed (hopefully) would seal the deal for me. It would be cool if this was based on the arcade version.

Space Invaders Extreme is also awesome.

I was so “addicted” to Extreme on the DS. Ranking system is a must. Glad it’s there.

That was a fun PSP game

Space Invaders Extreme was a great little game, fitting right in alongside the likes of Pac-Man Championship Edition. I wonder if we can get a port of Infinity Gene.

    Finally, a PC port.
