Open-World Racing Game Dakar 18 Announced for PC, PS4, and Xbox One

Deep Silver and Bigmoon Entertainment have announced Dakar 18.

The new open-world racing game is based on the famous Dakar cross-country rally, and its set for a PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One release sometime this year. Featured above, you can view the game’s announcement trailer.

Bigmoon Entertainment is priming the game to be a realistic racing simulation with “one of the biggest open worlds ever made in a racing game.” There will be official Dakar manufacture teams, pilots, vehicles, and five racing classes: Cars, Bikes, Trucks, Quads, and SxS – as well as a multitude of game modes like single player and both offline+online multiplayer.

The trailer reminds me heavily of the first MotorStorm’s E3 trailer where they switched between the different classes. But there’s not going to be another MotorStorm and this looks fun even if it’s a pre-rendered video.

Was ist the first Motorstorm or that Criterion game that was cancelled?

Criterion’s game got cancelled and Evolution Studios is no longer.
