Pokken Tournament DX “Battle Pack” DLC Announced, Adds Blastoise and Aegislash

Nintendo has announced a “Battle Pack” downloadable content pack for Pokken Tournament DX.

The new content includes two waves of content, most notably including the new fighters Blastoise and Aegislash.

Here’s a rundown on each wave:

  • Wave 1 (January 31st) – Battle Pokemon Aegislash, and support Pokemon Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu. Aegislash can change between two forms, and players can wield them both.
  • Wave 2 (March 23rd) – Battle Pokemon Blastoise, and support Pokemon Mew and Celebi.

Pokken Tournament DX is currently available for Nintendo Switch.

Since it’s a repackaged Wii U game at full $60 MSRP and there’s so little content it kind of seems like these should be free updates.

Surprised none of the Hitmon’s have been added yet

I think they were to avoid going for the traditional trope types of a fighting type game. That’s why Machamp and Blazekin are really the only two fighting type on the roster right now.but I would love to see even Tyrogue make it in.
