Sideshow Collectibles have announced a limited edition God of War statue.

Featured above as well as below, the statue was crafted to include series’ protagonist Kratos and his new son, Atreus. Here’s some more glamour shots:

The statue is made of Polystone, and stands at 15 inches tall, 11 inches wide, and 11 inches long for a 1/6th scale.

It’s worth mentioning only 750 of these will ever be made, and a price is set at $349 or €291. Shipping is scheduled for sometime between March and May of next year. You can pre-order the statue over on the Sideshow Collectibles website.

God of War for PlayStation 4 is set for a release sometime next year.

Yeah, because I need a physical reminder of the new shitty direction of God of War.

  • Migi

I need a God of war!!! Not a Babysitter of war.I wouldn’t be suprised if the game sucked considering gaming is all about inclusiveness nowadays. There no X-rated minigames anymore so they alrdy bending over backwords for the Feminazi.

  • DrearierSpider

Well why not, the game is a pandering mess to journofags who only care about “games as art” to begin with.

    Last of God of Us

  • passthegrenadeplease

Which direction would you want the game going so it can appease you? I mean, I think the direction is a breath of fresh air. It’s bringing something new to the table rather than being another rehash, I can’t wrap around my head where the direction would go unless you want to play another God of War that plays like the previous games.

  • True Goddess Reincarnation

It won’t get you laid though

  • Some furf

It’s not a breath of fresh air. It’s an infected wound spreading from the likes of The Last of Us. Instead of stepping up the combat to make it more technical and challenging, they’ve stripped it way back and replaced it with more story to try and appeal to the games journalist audience.

  • Mr0303

If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. There was nothing wrong with the mechanics of previous God of War games. They now changed the genre into this third person action adventure that is a step back from the hack and slash action and platforming. They ruined Kratos’ character by turning him into a baby sitter of the kid who won’t shut up during combat.

This is not the same type of game as the previous titles and I won’t be buying it.

  • I think the direction is a breath of fresh air.

This “breath of fresh air” has made the game into an utter pile of horse feces.

And it’s not even a genuine breath of fresh air.

It’s been influenced by SJW feminist garbage.

God of War was about gore tits and blood and now there’s none of that shit
the gameplay and style of the game have been completly changed,
People who liked the series for what it had always been now have “Not The Last of Us: starring Kratos assgardian edition”

there was absolutelly no need make this game a God of War
I wouldn’t have mind if $ony had draged Kratos on god killing tour around all religions in the world with endles yearly sequels.
But now God of War is no longer about the cruel, mercyles, evil ball of rage and hatred i know and love nor the game the edgy gore and tiddis bloodbaths i once enjoyed so much

  • ProxyDoug

This is not a breath of fresh air, this is playing it safe and using a famous franchise to do it.
Also, people tend to forget that they had the option to stop, I’d even say Ascension was a game too much as it adds nothing of value and felt like a gory cashgrab. Kratos is a well defined character with a proper arc and this is just a hipster attempt to sanitize it by turning him into a lone wolf dad that only does the things he does for his child.

And by the way when you see my dad, tell him I slit his throat in this dream I had.

So Kratos tried to kill himself because he knew it would be Cory who would ultimately kill him (as well as claim to be his co-parent).

Edit: Wanted to spell it like Corey
