Level-5 has announced a delay for Fantasy Life Online.

The game will forgo its planned 2017 release for one sometime in spring 2018, in Japan.

Level-5 noted the reasoning behind the delay was to further polish the game, as well as improve its user interface and other elements.

Once launched, Fantasy Life Online will be available for both iOS and Android devices.

Whatever happened to Super Snack World? I still don’t know what it’s supposed to be like.

    Who cares?

The original 3DS game was great, but this was clearly always intended as a whale baiting microtransactional nightmare.

Not only that, but from the looks of those screenshots, they are basically recycling assets from the 3DS game, adding Gacha or artificial time waits on it, and calling it a game. So by ‘polish’ they may mean actually making a new game.

And this is from Level 5, my how the mighty have fallen.

By polish they mean making it more playable.

I really liked Fantasy Life. It’s a real shame we didn’t get Fantasy Life 2.

It was fun to go around with a few people (Heroes of Ruin handled 4, not sure why this was 3) on the 3ds but their method with using DLC to sever you and friends unless you bought the same package must make it a moral improvement to end up in the micro transaction world.

Same. One of my favorite co-op games on the 3DS.
