Nintendo Switch Worldwide Sales Top 10 Million Units

Nintendo has announced worldwide sales for the Nintendo Switch have topped 10 million units.

The new milestone was reached after its launch on March 3rd of this year. The hybrid console reached at least 7.63 million units at the end of October this year, meaning it sold at least 2.4 million units during November and part of December.

Nintendo has released a slew of big releases this year including titles like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Arms, Splatoon 2, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. There has also been solid third party support with games like Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Stardew Valley.

The company recently announced both the original Bayonetta games are coming to the hybrid console alongside a completely new entry, Bayonetta 3. There are other big titles coming like a new Metroid Prime 4, a new Pokemon game, Mega Man 11, Project Octopath Traveler (read my preview here), and more.

The Nintendo Switch is now available worldwide, for $299.
