SNK has shared the seventeenth episode for The King of Fighters: Destiny, their CG animated series based on its The King of Fighters franchise.

Featured above, the new episode focuses on Kyo and friends as they run into a trap set up by none other than Rugal himself.

Here’s a rundown on the new episode, via SNK:

A party is held on a cruise ship and the fighters gather to relax before the final round. However, the organizer “R” has set a trap for them. Meanwhile, Kyo and his friends sneak out of the tournament venue and bear witness to the power of the black crystal.

In related news, SNK confirmed they’re working on “lots of new fighting games,” but they haven’t confirmed development platforms and such. You can read more about that here.

The King of Fighters XIV is currently available for PC and PlayStation 4. In case you missed it, you can find our review for The King of Fighters XIV here (we highly recommend it!).
