Cooking-Themed ARPG Battle Chef Brigade Launches for PC and Switch on November 20

Trinket Studios have announced the release date for Battle Chef Brigade on PC and Nintendo Switch.

The cooking-focused action-RPG will launch for both platforms via the eShop and via Steam on November 20th. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the game to coincide with the announcement.

The PlayStation 4 version is still coming, once they’ve worked out launch bugs – news Trinket Studios previously confirmed to Niche Gamer.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

Battle Chef Brigade features fantasy chefs, including Orcs, Elves, and Humans, who need to hunt dangerous monsters for ingredients. With those ingredients, before the critical eye of the judges, the chefs create culinary masterpieces in an intense tournament. Battle Chef Brigade pairs one part combo-based action hunting and one part puzzle-based cooking, all as the round clock ticks down.

It looks like something you should be digging up Armor Games to play. It’s very off putting. Disappointed in just how stiff and cheap it comes off, given how interesting the premise is otherwise.

It reminds me of a totally spies game on the cartoon network website

  • way too french.

Agreed. The idea and aesthetic is cool but that gameplay looks janky as fuck.
