Golbez from Final Fantasy IV Joins Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade

Square Enix has confirmed yet another playable fighter to join Dissidia Final Fantasy.

The antagonist from Final Fantasy IV, Golbez, is joining the arcade version of the game. Featured above, you can view his reveal trailer.

Previous character reveals include Cloud of Darkness, Noctis, Jecht, and Ultimecia. Alongside the reveal is that a new level, the “Stellar Fulcrum” from Final Fantasy XI, is being added to the game in its November 2017 update.

Dissidia Final Fantasy has been available in Japanese arcades. The game’s console version, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, is launching on January 30th in North America and Europe, for PlayStation 4. In case you missed it, you can find our exclusive, hands-on E3 2017 video preview for the game here.

    He doesn’t seem so different from his earlier appearances other the obvious dragon around him. I was expecting more from his Japanese VA though.
    It’s a real shame so many of the villains use more magic that melee attacks unlike the heroes.
    Who’s left now, was Gabranth announced?
