Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition Announced, Launches in December 2017

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a Complete Edition for Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Here’s a look at the full box art cover:

The new release of the robotic-dinosaur hunting game will launch on December 5th in the Americas and on December 6th in Europe, for $49.99.

As the name implies, the new release comes with the full base game plus the upcoming “The Frozen Wilds” expansion, which launches on November 7th.

Horizon: Zero Dawn originally launched for PlayStation 4 back on February 28th.

It says complete edition but I see its not on PC…

  • SA-X

It would have said Definitive Edition, then.

  • Mr0303

I do like the cover, but it seems all AAA games get these complete editions at some point. There is little sense getting them at launch.

It really doesn’t help most of them are gutted so, they can sell some with day one DLC.

Getting the GOTY is a better deal anyway. (unless they are selling various special editions so you are boned one way or another)

    “We-we’re still relevant, guys…”

  • Horizon: Zero Dawn? More like Mary Sue: The Game.

    SJW feminist garbage.

    Glad I held out.

Yeah, only people who want to play Game of the Year care about shit like Horizon.

Launch editions of Horizon had a reversible cover, for what it was worth.

I remember when everyone was raving about this game. Funny how not even half a month later people had completely forgotten about it. What a hit.

And this is why you don’t buy games when they come out. You wait for the playdate.

  • Kakaku

I don’t see what’s so strange about that. Most games seemingly fall of the face of the earth after launch. After the game is said and done not much else to say other than “it was fun”. Unless its as important in the gaming market as say Breath of the Wild or the Witcher 3 then can’t really expect it to have a non-stop presence. Not every well received game has fans that rave on and on about the game.

Besides its still doing well. We’re talking about the second best selling PS4 game (best selling unbundled). Its still around $45 so it seems like its still in decent demand.

  • Kakaku

Definitely agree with waiting though. You can get all the DLC and waiting long enough can leave you with a smaller $20-30 purchase. What I’ve seen of acting and characters has discouraged me from playing this game, but all opinions seem mixed. By waiting even if the story is ass I can still justified buying it for the gameplay if I buy it cheap.

What’s so strange about it? It was hyped as the first real exclusive for the PS4 worth buying the console for.
