Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan 2 Western Launch Set for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One

Koei Tecmo has announced development platforms for Attack on Titan 2 in the west.

The upcoming sequel from Omega Force will launch across PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One sometime early next year in North America and Europe.

In Japan the game will launch across PC, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and the Nintendo Switch.

Heres a brief rundown on the game, via Koei Tecmo:

Attack on Titan 2 delves deeply into the fascinatingnarrative of Attack on Titan’s second season and offers players exhilarating action and new challenges, as it introduces the newly improved omni-directional mobility gear offering advanced freedom of movement and targeting precision to counter enhanced Titan movements.

Players will be able to try their new moves against these fearsome Titans as they control characters from a Titan-sized roster! Outside of battle they will be able to deepen their relationships with their fellow squad-mates while gaining greater insight into life within the walls thanks to more advanced RPG elements.

Attack on Titan 2 on Switch! And on the GO!!!

  • Mr0303

They could at least do a digital release for the Vita like the last one. Playing the game on the go was surprisingly good.

  • Zack Attack

    Ikr, this is awesome!

  • Loli the (42) Hedgehog

kinda of a dick move not releasing the Vita Version, even a Digital only version would suffice and I imagine it wouldn’t be that expensive.

  • catazxy

I guess, but would you pay for a 20 fps action game? I know I’ll have to see a lot of gameplay before I’ll make my decision….

  • Why would they waste thier time on a dead platform?

  • Get it on the switch if you want to do that. Vita is dead and shitty.

  • Vita owners on suicide watch again!

  • Loli the (42) Hedgehog

I was waiting for the one dick cheese to drop that dumbass joke. congratulations, you’re it.

  • Loli the (42) Hedgehog

my dude… what’s your problem with the Vita? if you don’t like the console that’s fine but you’re going around every comment just to sh*t on it, it’s honestly extremely petty and kinda of embarrassing.

  • Loli the (42) Hedgehog

well, there’s the portability aspect (considering that I don’t have a switch yet). I have One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 on the vita and I honestly think being able to play anywhere beats having great graphics.

then again, there is the Switch.

  • Pointing out facts is “petty and kinda of embarrassing”? Do you want me to lie?

  • You want my dick and some cheese? You have to take me out for dinner first. :)

  • Loli the (42) Hedgehog

simple: it’s not dead, sure, it doesn’t have mass appeal but the Vita did manage to find it’s niche audience (I can’t think of a better console to play Visual Novels, and I bet series like Senran Kagura would have a much harder time coming over if they didn’t start on the Vita and 3DS).

The Wii U is dead. saying the Vita is dead when there’s still games coming out for it and making suicide jokes is not pointing out facts.

  • Wii U is still getting games as well. Face it kid Vita is dead. PC and switch killed it by taking what little games the little piece of shit had. HA!
