Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion Launches October 31

Square Enix has announced the release date for the multiplayer expansion coming to Final Fantasy XV.

The “Comrades” expansion will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 31st. Featured above, you can view a new trailer showcasing what players have in store within the new content.

If you own Final Fantasy XV and the Final Fantasy XV Season Pass you’ll get it at no extra cost, if not you can buy it separately. You’ll need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold to play it.

The expansion takes place in a player-made, third-party perspective from the main storyline seen within the game. You’ll be investigating what happened to Noctis after the game’s 13th chapter. You can equip royal sigils that give you special powers from the Lucian bloodline, as well as make your own team to tackle various quests. There’s solo and cooperative content in the expansion.
