Bandai Namco has shared a new trailer for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom from this year’s Gamescom expo.

Featured above, the trailer focuses on Roland, an official of some kind that is transported to Ni no Kuni. He quickly becomes a close supporting companion to Evan, the game’s protagonist.

You’ll also get a look at two new characters, including: Nerea, the lovely queen of the land of Thalassea as well as Leander, her advisor.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is launching for both PC and PlayStation 4 on January 19th next year, in both North America and Europe. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough written and video preview for the game from this year’s E3 here.
