Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest Builders 2.

The new sequel is coming to both PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. Featured above, you can view the debut gameplay for the upcoming sandbox game (Editor’s Note: Footage starts around the 1:10:50 mark).

New features like four-person multiplayer, slopes, swimming / underwater areas, creating waterfalls, filling high areas with water, a higher limit of blocks you can stack (increased three times high and low), and gliding are coming in the sequel.

Finally, the game’s keywords are “fellow companions” and “young Malroth,” the latter of which is the final boss in Dragon Quest II.
