Mighty No. 9 Included Free in New Humble Bundle

Since its release, we haven’t really heard much about Mighty No. 9 or the multitude of trans-media properties that were proposed with the Comcept IP.

Now, the game is being included free in a new Humble Bundle focused primarily on Deep Silver-published games (they handled western publishing for Mighty No. 9).

Dubbed the Humble Saints Row Bundle, you can get quite a bit of quality games like the Saints Row titles, as well as Killer is Dead (Deep Silver handled publishing in Europe).

Here’s the entire offering, thus far:

Pay $1 or more:

  • Risen 3: Titan Lords Complete Edition
  • Deadlight: Director’s Cut
  • Homefront
  • Saints Row 2

Pay more than the average:

  • Saints Row: The Third
  • Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell
  • Mighty No. 9
  • Killer is Dead – Nightmare Edition
  • More games to come

Pay $15 or more:

  • Homefront: The Revolution
  • Saints Row IV: Game of the Century Edition
  • Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package
  • Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell – Devil’s Workshop Pack

Pay $75:

  • Agents of Mayhem (pre-order)

In case you missed it, you can read and view our Mighty No. 9 review here (we can’t really recommend it).

Guess the devs and backers are still crying like an anime fan on prom night.

  • Just Some Guy

  • Touma

hey, it’s for charity and it comes with actual good games

  • Just Some Guy

I’m more annoyed by the clickbait-esque title tbh.

  • Eldhin Hellknight

And even for free, it doesnt worth XD

  • BlueLight

    ya… uh Brandon… it’s not free.

  • BlueLight

    Can comfirm, this backer is.

  • Just fyi, the Charity Split is, unless you change it, 15%, 20% going to Humble and 65 to the Publisher. So Charity, by default, actually gets the *least* out of the vast majority of purchases, because people tend to not even be aware of the split sliders.

  • Well, I’d say it is. Idle for the trading cards, sell them for a few cents each on the market, then leave a review.

  • Uncle Ocelot

You couldn’t even pay me to have this game.
    >Part of the more than average tier
    >There isn’t even a free tier

The final kick in the balls for Mighty No 9 backers.

I just dropped a humble bundle and called it mighty no. 2. same thing right?

ok I’m tired I’m sorry plz keep supporting NG I love you

  • NukeA6

It’s not free here but it might be on Gog.com and Steam when that eventual sale happens.

  • Mr0303
  • SinkingSage

I don’t want it, not even for free.

  • Noah Howard

So they’re going to include a really bad kid’s game with any of these violent video games? I don’t see the logic. Or the greedy motivations, for that matter.

  • Augusto I.

Maybe they’re hoping Mighty Gunvolt Burst’s positive reception out Beck in a better light? I honestly don’t think so since it’s only on Nintendo systems, but it’s the only thing I can think of.

  • AuraMaster DX (austin9568)

He’s gonna have all of that
    With blackjack and hookers

  • TheOnceAndFutureKing

Oh shit I remember the anime and cgi shows.

Did that ever come to light?

  • I’d rather have nothing.

  • RichardGristle

No need to be humble. Share it with the class.

  • Travis Touchdown

One of these days we make the same kind of jokes about Bloodstained, Shenmue III, and Psychonauts 2.

  • 2501

    Not even worth it.

  • chaoguy
  • Mr0303

No idea. I wasn’t actively searching or anticipating those. Given how long it took for the actual game to release, my guess is no.

  • F*ck the game and f*ck the supporters who did not heed the warnings of Dina Karam.

  • Neojames82

Don’t forget to watch out for the pizza explosions!!!

  • Matz

    It’s better than nothing

  • buddyluv324

I’m still amazed that even after all the drama from day 1, this mess is somehow barley legal…

  • edge

I believe the word you’re looking for is fuck. I don’t understand everyone’s need to exaggerate the game. The kickstarter was an awful mess, the game is alright.

  • Nagato

Care to do some coverage on other Humble Bundles, though? There’s usually a good amount of niche games included in those that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise.

Just two weeks ago there was one with Strider 2014, REmake, Resi 0, Resi 6, Dead Rising 2, Off the Record and DR3. Even somewhat more mainstream stuff like the current Telltale bundle would be worth reporting on: even if you’re not too much into those games, getting practically their entire library up to the end of 2016 for that price is still one helluva deal.

Speaking of which, a Sonic Mania pre-order for 16 bucks is nothing to scoff at either: https://www.bundlestars.com/en/game/sonic-mania

  • MusouTensei

I wouldn’t call it free, it’s part of the Beat the Average perk, it’s rather heavily discounted.

  • buddyluv324

I have to disagree with the game being alright. There were a number of issues ive noticed playing the game. This one in the video I put up is just one of the many issues I have with the game:

  • Version_8

Jesus, I can’t even stomach this character.

  • Doesn’t seem to include and apology… so i am good.

  • DJ Rev

Might No 9 get a bad rap due to the Kickstarter Debacle. I don’t think it’s that bad. Definitely better than the likes of Mega Man X6 and Rockman and Forte.

  • SiliconNooB

    It’s not free.
