“The Milking continues” I believe, would have been more appropriate.

And this is a problem, because? Final Fantasy XV is a hit, and I am all for it.

  • Eugenio Gil de la Madrid

FFXV is a piece of shit

  • Eugenio Gil de la Madrid

Lol the turd pile keeps on rolling

  • Uncle Ocelot

I still don’t understand how Sony thought FFXV VR Fishing was a higher priority for their E3 conference than Gran Turismo.

  • Chocolate ISISCream

Nice obvious bait. It’s an amazing game. Play it before trashing it, but it’s pointless to tell you that since you’re so easily brainwashed by the media.

  • Eugenio Gil de la Madrid

I own the limited edition and beated the pos. The game is a scam.

The story is incomplete trash, the characters are shallow and one dimensional, and the bosses are unmenorable. The post game is shit full of repaints and lacks any rewards what so ever. The combat is shallow, overall there is no point in anything you do. The villain is a joke and the only way he gets away with his goal is since the party is full of retards.

It had a shitty anime and an even worse movie with shitty cgi characters. There is no quality in this thrash of a game.

Dlc is lazy and has zero taste or effort put into it. Fuck off with your bullshit

  • Feniks

Not buying it until the GOTY edition comes out.

Some people may be okay with broken and unfinished games on release day (in fact most people are) but not me. There’s other stuff to play.

  • RPG

I actually have the ultimate collector’s edition, and have put over 150 hours into the game. I thought the game was okay overall, but disappointing in many aspects; with the story/character’s being incomplete and full of holes (it had a lot of potential to be really good though) being my biggest gripe.

  • Ckarasu

Yeah, it seems Tabata had to rush this out. I do appreciate that they’re actually asking fans for what story bits they want to see incorporated into the game, and that there will be free support, but it’s a shame we didn’t get that with the release. The actual gameplay’s OK, and I actually like the characters, so I’m just a bit disappointed with how things had to turn out.

At least it’s not as big of a mess as VIII. And this is coming from a guy who likes VIII.

  • Casey

Because No one actually know when Gran Turismo is actually going to come out.

  • Uncle Ocelot

    That’s never stopped Sony before.

  • Travis Touchdown

    “FFXV is a hit.”

  • ProxyDoug

Is VIII that much of a mess?
I find XII to be a worst offender.

  • ProxyDoug

    Can we move on already?

  • Marc Paradis

Whatever you like the game or not it IS a hit. The game was well receive by critics and his a commercial success.

  • Himegami Aisa

Travis as usual has probably decided that the sales figures are forged because they don’t mesh with what the Nintenyearold circlejerk has deluded themselves into thinking is fact.

  • Ckarasu

So, I’m about to go a bit whole hog on this:

XII is fine, as a game. People hate Vaan, and that’s fine, but the story makes sense and is consistently told and all that. The plot has a solid foundation, and the gameplay functions properly. There are issues, to be sure, but it’s one of the more well balanced Final Fantasy games. Hell, Vaan’s biggest offense is that he’s kinda nothing. But that’s not a huge deal, since he mostly loses relevance fast.

VIII has bigger issues, and this is coming from a guy who likes the game. The junction system is busted, straight up. As if no one tested it, because shit gets crazy fast. You can get the Lionheart early, as well, because they give you just enough card that give materials for it, as well as allowing you to farm Grendels in an early game area(seemingly by accident). Then there’s all the late game magic you can get early to make your characters complete gods. Level 1 playthroughs aren’t too different than normal ones because of this. Late game bosses become a joke as your characters move at the speed of a fucking cheetah compared to their slow asses, and you can easily just use Holy Wars(?) to just become invincible.

Then there’s VIII’s plot. Stuff TECHNICALLY fits together, but you can tell they had to stretch the reason everyone forgot each other super fucking thin(by offhandedly mentioning GFs affect a person’s memory). Squall is offputting as a character for many, because he doesn’t like to talk to people. There’s a romance that, while it is developed, it still feels cheesey. Then there’s time travel nonsense that they don’t explore nearly well enough, and the final villain doesn’t get any real development. None.

The things that are accepted as good in VIII are the OST(which is fucking solid) and the minigame called Triple Triad. When people play VIII, it’s usually to just play Triple Triad and the story is just used as a means to get to the later card players. If VIII had a remake, then they’d have to change a lot to the point that the fans would hope it’s almost a completely different game.

VIII is a fucking mess, but I love it.

  • ProxyDoug

    I see and I agree.
