  • Eh. To be honest, this game didn’t really need a remaster. Not to much has changed. The superb 2D sprites are just uprezzed and, idk. I’m just not digging the whole “anime style” it now has. I loved how the original was clearly a JRPG, but like how Chrono Trigger and FFVI were JRPGs, not how Bravely Default and Persona are JRPGs. The latter feel more anime-like, while the former feel more like classic games. This new art and cutscenes move it from the former category to the latter. I guess it’s just a matter of opinion, but it felt a lot better in the former.

My 2 cents. Idk if anyone will read it.

There’s something really aesthetic about that subtle pencil scratch in the animation.

I know I’m repeating myself, but please, come to the west with the japanese audio.

Eh, I thought Bravely Default feels like a classic JRPG. It’s one of the reasons why I prefer Default to Second as the latter utilises anime tropes that makes it inconsistent when it comes to it’s tone.

Dying like a retard forever is a animu trope 2 man.
