Dragon Quest X Launches for Nintendo Switch Fall 2017 in Japan

Square Enix has announced the release window for the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Quest X.

The MMORPG set within the Dragon Quest universe will launch sometime this fall in Japan for the hybrid cosnsole. Featured above, you can view a new trailer that compares the Switch version to all its other iterations, which span the Wii, Wii U, PC, smartphones, and even the Nintendo 3DS.

If you’ve been playing the Wii version of the game (which ends with the Version 3 update to the game), you can get a free upgrade to the Nintendo Switch version. The PlayStation 4 version of the game is still on track for a summer 2017 release in Japan.

Don’t leave out the part where it’s not the WiiU or PS4 versions if no PC version.

  • Uncle Ocelot

There exists a dimension where Dragon Quest X and Phantasy Star Online 2 both get localised, this probably isn’t that dimension.

  • Neojames82

In that very dimension, Wu; Quinn and Sarkesian also either do exist. Or that they do but no one knows who the fuck they are. XD

  • Uncle Ocelot

In that dimension, they’re activists for traditional gender roles.

    Play FF14.

  • Izzy Lichi

ff14 sucks. its just a wowclone with a FF skin on it with no talent builds.
