Final Fantasy VII Remake Voice Acting is Practically Finished

In this week’s issue of Dengeki, Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed that the title’s voice acting for the main story is nearly complete.

Kitase specifically talked up Cloud in the remake, saying that fans may be expecting him to be like Cloud from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

This is not the case, as they’ll be treated to Cloud in his “prime” before those events – he hinted that his performance might feel younger and more fresh. It’s worth mentioning this is probably in regards to the first episode of the game, as it’s being split into multiple parts.

This, of course, is probably only referring to the first part of the game’s episodic release. This follows the recent release of key art and new screenshots showing off the game’s first area, the Sector 1 Mako Reactor.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is currently in development for PS4.
