El Dia has shared the opening movie for Desire: Remastered.

Featured above, the game’s opening movie is reminiscent of older anime style, as it first launched for PC back in 1994.

Desire takes place on a remote island that is isolated from the world. The titular Desire research institute is located here, where scientists work on things completely shrouded in mystery. A journalist visits his lover working at the facility, and the two get caught up in a catastrophic incident.

Desire: Remastered is launching in Japan for both PlayStation Vita and PC on April 27th, 2017.
