Second Official Trailer for Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is Overwhelming

Marvelous has shared a new trailer for Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash.

Featured above, the second official trailer for the game showcases all of its features, ladies, shooting action, and of course – its wet and wild features that are not for the faint of heart.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is launching for PlayStation 4 in Japan on March 16th, and is coming in various editions. It’s worth mentioning a western and Asian release are coming as well.

It looks amazing as expected. The PvE missions with that robot and giant Ryona are quite interesting and rather unique. The new dressing room features go above and beyond, especially the water gun ones.

I’m still a bit worried about how the cards will affect game balance and whether they’ll be allowed in MP.

I’m quite curious to see the VR features. My guess would be that they’ll be a modified dressing room.

With some luck we’ll get the game this year.

  • For my actual opinion, I am looking forward to buying this. I do have a few concerns, however:

    1. Will the controls and movement feel good?

    2. Will we still be getting mainline games following after Deep Crimson?

    3. PS+ is unavoidable, sadly, and I’m not particularly ecstatic about the idea of paying more just to play online. If it did what Nioh is going to do with free PvP, I’d be on top of that yesterday.

  • InquisitiveRavenclaw

I don’t know about 1, but for 2 they did mention there’d be a more traditional action game announced sometime later this year. Unfortunately they were incredibly vague about it, so who knows if it’ll be a continuation of Deep Crimson or another Versus game?

I’m hoping they’ll have it on the 3DS as well.

  • Ryan Barrett

It’s hilarious, but it looks more like she’s waving the farts that the blonde chick keeps releasing.

  • Let’s hope it’s Burst 3 on the Switch. I’d get the console just for that.

  • Jay

Glad my brothers stupidly got PS+ and I can take advantage of that. As long as we get an NA copy this year.

  • Mr0303
  • Can’t wait for this. Shinovi and Estival were pretty fun games. I’m so glad this is already confirmed for the West.

  • Ruto-hime

Hm… I hope waterguns work against SJW scum… these are some hard stains afterall.

But I’m interested so far, although I do hope Multiplayer is less relevant than it looks here. I have zero interest in getting PS+.

  • No_Good_Names_Ever

It’ll be on the Switch if it’s on any Nintendo hardware other we’d have had another game by now.

Hopefully marvelous Europe releases the 3lb mouse pad.

Those annoying squeaky Japanese voices kind of ruin it. If this game series is going to be fancy pants enough to celebrate its 5th Anniversary (as though it were a major series), then it’s time for them to pony up for an English dub option.

  • AuraMaster DX (austin9568)

    Attack on Ryona
    Don’t worry, she’ll love it😉

  • grgspunk

You would have to ditch the watergun and get an M4 in that situation.

  • Slizzl

This is gonna be one of the greats.

  • Cerea

    1. Boobs
    2. Boobs
    3. Boobs

  • Cerea

I’ll prob import and stream it.

  • Cerea

Right because you want dull dubs over proper voice acting.

Better than Overwatch. THAT’S RIGHT! I SAID IT!!

    PS: 4:14 “Original Sound Truck”!?!

  • Matz

This is better than Splatoon, I SAID IT TOO!

  • Fenrir007

  • Fenrir007

So it’s like Splatoon, expect it’s your underwear going splat?

  • CRES

You do realize you where watching the JAPANESE trailer, right?

  • BaronKrause

    Ha cant unsee that now.

  • BaronKrause

The method for obtaining cards isn’t some scammy GATCHA system is it?

  • XSEED said in a blog they considered dubbing Shinovi Versus – but when they added up the costs, they couldn’t afford it. So even if the dub didn’t suck, you wouldn’t be able to get it anyway.

  • Ruto-hime

Aye, with a lot of Ammo and maybe a Sidearm… I vote for the good old fashioned Desert Eagle. :D

  • A Loli de 42 Anos atrasada

    Already Preordered it.

  • A Loli de 42 Anos atrasada

the western version is already confirmed, I’d suggest waiting for it (not only will be cheaper but it will support uncensored localizations)

  • A Loli de 42 Anos atrasada

I’d be okay with a Dub as long as long as there was a dual audio option. that way we can judge the dub for ourselves and switch back to japanese if it wasn’t good.

  • A Loli de 42 Anos atrasada

well you just ruined that gif for me.

  • A Loli de 42 Anos atrasada

    1. We’ll have to wait and see

    2. According to Takaki, the main goal of this game (story-wise) is to unify the events of the Estival games and main series into a single timeline. (which, In my eyes, isn’t that hard: SK1 and 2 take place back-to-back (with the events of SK2 lasting for around one or two months), and in Shinovi Versus we know that SK1 happened 6 months ago, with Estival Versus happening some time later).
Considering Estival was pretty much a build up to a big event that will happen in the future, I think it’s safe to assume there will be a new main game after this one.

    3. What’s that free PvP? it’s possible to play online for free in Nioh?

  • A Loli de 42 Anos atrasada

I’m probably the only one who cares about this but… did they change Kiriya’s voice?

  • Indeed.

I also heard that apparently, Takaki was ending the mainline series in favour of sticking solely to spinoffs. The problem is I couldn’t confirm this no matter how I investigated it – not only is my Japanese not up to snuff, but no news outlet reported on it, not even the Japan-centric ones. Let’s just hope we see the story go back to its serious roots again.

Yup! Niche Gamer has an article on it:

  • grgspunk

.50 cal AE is way too expensive. You’re perfectly fine with an M9 or a Glock 17.

  • A Loli de 42 Anos atrasada

I haven’t heard or seen anything about him dropping the main series (that would be really dissappointing) what he did say was that he didn’t want the games to become too repetitive (hence Bon Appettit and PBS) which is a good thing.

This is just my opinion but I think what he could do is add more Plataforming in between combat sessions of future games, Estival Versus introduced a pretty cool wall-run mechanic that, while cool, didn’t really have a point.

  • Albert Joestar

i checked and it seems like now instead of Keiji Fujiwara the VA is Kanehira Yamamoto

I noticed because I’ve been playing a lot of bon appetit

  • Platforming would actually be really interesting – if they did something kind of like Titanfall 2’s use of the environment, I’d be pretty interested in giving that a go.

  • Ruto-hime

But better safe than sorry, right?

  • grgspunk

I prefer having more rounds to increased stopping power.
