New Overview Trailer for Furry Action RPG Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom

Focus Home Interactive and Enigami have shared a new trailer for Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom.

Featured above, the new trailer gives a nice overview of the upcoming action RPG, its characters, story, combat, and more.

Here’s a rundown on the game, via Focus Home:

Action-RPG Shiness, from Indie studio Enigami, brings to light the depth of its gameplay and enthralling universe in a brand new video. While Shiness releases in just a few weeks on PS4, Xbox One and PC, its universe was born over 20 years ago from the pen strokes of Samir Rebib, Artistic Director of the studio. Composed of passionate people, independent studio Enigami went through a successful Kickstarter campaign, allowing the project to grown and gain momentum, until it was accompanied by Focus Home Interactive. Now the development phase is nearing conclusion, the indie studio keeps pumping all its energy and passion into Shiness, and a child’s dream is finally becoming an indie-RPG with a bold personality!

Today’s video invites you to the magic world of Shiness, supported by a strong artistic direction, enthralling environments and endearing characters. Explore the world, and use your characters’ special powers – Kayenne’s telekinesis, Poky’s electromagnetic fields manipulation, and more –to progress in your adventure and find precious parchments, which are key to devastating spells and powerful combat techniques.

Throughout your quest, take part in hyper-dynamic combat inspired by traditional fighting games, combining combos, special moves, magic, elemental affinities and devastating “finish moves”. As you complete quests and battles, you will gain experience and levels, develop your characters and recruit new playable companions on your team.

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is launching across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime before March 31st.

  • Trouble Man

The only one who needs an Exterminatus done on them is you

  • Trouble Man

Kinda reminds me of Naruto: the Broken Bond in terms of gameplay, which is a good thing, I guess. It’ll be interesting to see if they can get over the “skills vs. stats” ARPG hump.

  • Madbrainbox

Release date is quite close. This looks really good.

  • Nuku Nuku Natsume Mishima

    Where is the furry tits???

  • Jumanji Joe

The real question is will there be plenty of yiff?

  • Γεώργιος Αρχαιοκαπηλίδης

Why is it labelled from many sites as “furry game” when it has only three playable furry characters and it still has human characters?

  • Heresy Hammer

THE WORK OF ONE WHO CONSORTS WITH BEASTS.

  • Kelborne

Every time I see a furry a puppy dies.

I swear the two aren’t related.

However, my Lord Inquisitor, I’d like to take a look at this game to better understand what we are fighting against… if you know what I mean.

  • stobgopper

I dont think this is furrier than, say, looney toons, or ducktales. Though it also doesnt look as good.

I think it takes more than cartoon animals to make a game “furry” , maybe if it had, I dunno, everyone shirtless, or snakes with tits, or bizarrely specific fetishes.

    Calm down guys.

  • Jettythesunfish

Furriness aside, this looks pretty damn dope.

  • Pilebunker

I remember during the late 80’s and 90’s that anthro cartoons and video games were the norm. With titles like Rocket Knight or Tailspin. No one even cared that some characters had obvious sex appeal to them. Now every anthro game has to be “furbait”. I don’t get it besides people discovering what a furry is but people had a fetish for everything under the sun. Like how I won’t stop liking giant robots because someone wants to mate with them.

Anyway, more action-RPGs are great. I hope it turns out well.

  • Bitterbear

The lack of fanart means that no, there is no yiff at all.

  • Daryl Corey

Those games and cartoons are the cause of the growth of the furverts it is what put the fetish in their poor deranged minds

  • Bitterbear

Part of that was thanks to the success of Sonic. Afterwards every publisher wanted to have a sassy talking mascot.

  • FreshSnug

Fur bait? I must be missing something. I didn’t see a single thing in that trailer I was confident in my ability to masturbate to. I see the fur but the bait is missing.

  • FreshSnug

A furry world and no sexy catgirls? What’s the point?

  • Kessek

    Completely unfappable.

    DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  • AuraMaster DX (austin9568)

In the eyes of normies anything can be furbait

  • Furry isn’t a fetish tho, ya know. “Furry” is characters with human-like features (such as talking or walking on two legs). Technically, these characters here are furry, just like Looney Tunes, the lion king, or the khajiit race in TES.

What people do with these characters is a fetish, and it’s fucking gross. But people of every fandom do that, and to any kind of character, so I don’t see how furries are so different tbh.

Humans in general just have poor deranged minds.

  • FreshSnug

    “It’s fucking gross.”

Hey man, Klonoa is not gross.

  • John Smith.

I don’t know what’s most idiotic, that the game in questions is instantly labeled as furry trash for having furry characters in it combined with zero talk about its game mechanics.
Or is the fact that the free speech and expression crowd bitching lose against any kind of censoring is actually saying that this kind of game is not allowed because they don’t like its contents.
Way to uphold your standards folks, you’re sure are showing those dirty game journoes how its done.
