Superbeat: Xonic Heads to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Rising Star Games have announced a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release for Superbeat: Xonic, the music/rhythm game produced by ex-DJMAX developers Nurijoy.

The game will launch via retail and the PlayStation Store and via the Xbox Live Games store North America and Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East sometime this April in North America and sometime this spring in the other regions.

A North American release for these ports wasn’t confirmed at this time, however we’ve reached out to Rising Star Games for an update. Originally released for PS Vita back in November of 2015, the game was a port of the arcade game Beatcraft Cyclon, also developed by Nurijoy.

Both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game include over 65 music tracks spanning a multitude of genres, including: K-pop, techno, R&B, heavy metal, and more. It’s worth mentioning this release includes all of the post-launch music DLC from the PS Vita original.

In case you missed it, you can find my review for Superbeat Xonic here (I highly recommend it, it’s one of my favorite PS Vita titles!).
