Mobius Final Fantasy Hits PC February 6, Final Fantasy VII Remake Collab Announced

Square Enix has announced the western release date for Mobius Final Fantasy on PC.

The previously mobile-only RPG adventure will launch for PC via Steam on February 6th. The PC version offers full HD 1080p visuals, alongside the game’s in-app purchases, as you can play it for free to start. Featured above, a new trailer was released for the PC release.

To celebrate the release of the game for PC in the west, the company also announced a western release for the Final Fantasy VII Remake collaboration previously released for the game in Japan.

Set to launch the following day after launch, February 7th, the collaboration will see both Mobius Final Fantasy protagonist Wol and Final Fantasy VII protagonist Cloud join forces, using asset from the Final Fantasy VII Remake within Mobius Final Fantasy.

To be clear, this collaboration is the same released in Japan for Mobius Final Fantasy, including things like Cloud Strife, Guard Scorpion, and even the Mako Reactor. However, characters like Tifa, Aerith, and Zack will not appear.

Finally, users who install the game on Steam and log in will have a chance to win certain in-game items, including: Ability Tickets, a Summon Ticket and much more. Prizes will also be divvied to players by way of cumulative shares of the game via its Global Release Campaign webpage. If the number of shares reaches the maximum goal of 15,000, players will get 10 Ability Tickets, the rare upgrade material Growstar and other prizes.
