Path of Exile Heads to Xbox One in 2017

Grinding Gear Games has announced an Xbox One version for Path of Exile, their crazily rewarding, free-to-play, action RPG.

The Xbox One version is set for a release sometime this year, and it will include all of the content included in the game’s PC version – including its planned massive 3.0.0 expansion that adds Act Five to the game. Featured above, you can view a new trailer showcasing the console port.

Unfortunately, Xbox One players will be only able to play on a separate server from the PC version. Grinding Gear made this decision as they note small gameplay differences between both versions, like how some skills are used, the number of flask slots, and more.

Grinding Gear also noted that the majority of content and league release schedule will be the same on both platforms.

In case you missed it, you can find our review for Path of Exile here (we highly recommend it!).
