New Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World Footage Showcases New Features

Nintendo has shared a new batch of gameplay for Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World.

Featured above, the new gameplay shows off the enhanced port’s new features, including things like the Yoshi Theater, the new Poochy Amiibo, designing and sharing an original Yoshi via StreetPass, and more.

In case you missed it, we previously reported on the game lacking multiplayer of any kind – a feature many fans were hoping to see in the 3DS port.

Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World is launching for the Nintendo 3DS on January 19th in Japan and on February 3rd in both North America and Europe.

Never been a fan of the yarn games due to the focus mostly on the artstyle, and a bad one at that imo. Give me back the original Yoshi Story please.

  • Nagato

I hope you meant to say Yoshi’s Island, because Woolly World looks to me as if it’s the best game in the series since then… but then again every Yoshi game in between has been pure garbage.

  • NeoTruth

I was referring to both Kirby and Yoshi’s games where they are both made of yarn.

I had a bit of faint memory of when I played and yeah I believe it was
Island I was referring to but Story left a bigger impression on me so I tend mix the two
up. I felt the Woolly World stifled it’s potential to be a better game because of it’s focus on the art style, and yeah there were some pretty trash games lol.

I’ll wait to see if it is downgraded from the Wii U version or will only run well on a New 3DS like Mario Maker and Hyrule Warriors did.

  • Uncle Slick

    Obligatory Nintendo sucks comment.
