New Persona 5 Trailer Introduces the Passionate Haru Okumura

Atlus has shared a new trailer for Persona 5.

Featured above, the new trailer introduces the passionate daughter of a dedicated businessman of a father – Haru Okumura.

As with the previous character trailers, Atlus conducted an interview with Haru’s voice actress Xanthe Huynh, which you can find below:

Here’s a brief synopsis for Haru, via Atlus:

You wouldn’t think that the obedient daughter of an affluent business man would be rebellious, but Haru Okumura is a passionate member of the team. Although she grew up with all the elegance and splendor that money could buy, it came at the cost of her freedom. A gilded cage is still a cage, and she grew up always being told what to do, how to think, and was raised to simply be an obedient girl. However, getting mixed up with the Phantom Thieves will help her learn how to break out and fly free. Codenamed Noir, Haru is a kindhearted person who truly wants to change the world for the better and ensure that justice always prevails.

Persona 5 is launching in North America and Europe on April 4th.

Good thing atlus usa will finally delivered dual audio on persona, i respect the “work” of the english dub but i prefer the original track.

Really excited for the games release. I do fully intend to play the game with the English voice acting but I’m also glad there’s duel audio. Certain gameing companies should take note of what Atlus is doing and Implement their marketing strategy in providing dual audio. Just like how aksys game fucked up BlazBlue Central fiction by not providing a english dub.

  • Zero Eternity

She just doesn’t sound like the rebellious type. Always the quiet ones I guess.

  • Snorlaxation

I think I like her voice too. One of those characters that gets backed into a corner and only then finally snaps.

  • Grey

This is the first one of these videos I’ve seen where the English voice actually seemed to fit the character. It’s a nice surprise, though I’ll still be playing with the Japanese VAs on.

Makes you wonder why they always said it wasnt possible before. Yet any other Sega rpg did…
