First Nintendo Switch Live Gameplay Shown During Tonight Show

On last night’s episode of the Tonight Show, Nintendo surprised viewers with the first look at the Nintendo Switch.

While Nintendo’s presence at last night’s episode was originally reported to be promoting Super Mario Run, CEO Reggie Fils-Amie also surprised host Jimmy Fallon with a demo of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild running on the Switch. The actual gameplay starts around the 6:00 mark.

Not only is this the first game shown running live on the Nintendo Switch, but it’s also the first time we’ve seen the system since its October reveal.

The next time we’ll see the Nintendo Switch is January 13th, when Nintendo finally reveals the specifications, pricing, and more at an event in Japan.
