• Daytona 3 Championship USA Announced for Arcades

    You read that headline right – Sega is officially launching a new Daytona USA game for arcades – aptly named Daytona 3 Championship USA.

    Featured above, you can view a new teaser trailer for the game.

    Here’s what to expect from the new arcade release, via Sega:


    • 47″ screen
    • 27″ billboard marquee
    • Link up to 8 machines
    • Camera with in-game avatars
    • New cars and game modes
    • Operator adjustable “party mode” for tournaments
    • Based on the original Daytona USA engine to keep the physics
    • Three new tracks plus remastered tracks from the original Daytona USA

    The game comes with lots of goodies to make old fans of the series happy, while also bringing in newcomers as well.

    A release window for Daytona 3 Championship USA was not announced, however we’ll keep you guys posted.
