CD Projekt Red’s latest RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, isn’t coming out for awhile. However, small hints are regularly coming out, giving us tiny ideas of what to expect from the sci-fi epic.

The developer has applied for various grants with the Polish GameINN, including things like ‘City Creation’, ‘Animation Excellence’, ‘Cinematic Feel’, and even ‘Seamless Multiplayer.’ As reported by GamePressure, the outlet also translated the news:

City Creation is likened to “complex technology for creating a huge living city, playable in real time, which (the technology) is based on rules, AI, and automation, as well as supports innovative processes and tools for making top-notch open-world games.”

Seamless Multiplayer is then described as “complex technology for making unique multiplayer gameplay mechanics, including the ability to search out for opponents, manage game session, replicate objects, as well as support for different game modes along with a unique set of dedicated tools.”

The other two grants, Animation Excellence and Cinematic Feel, are much more clear in nature. Finally, CD Projekt Red’s own Robert Malinowski responded to questions for the grants, via PC Gamer: “We did apply, I can confirm that, yes. However, we wouldn’t like to elaborate beyond what’s already there.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is reportedly in full development and its development team is larger than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s team, even at its largest.
