Early Access MiniLAW: Ministry of Law Lets You Fulfill A Judge Dredd Fantasy

Lasso Games is developing a cyberpunk-themed, tactical, platformer-shooter inspired by classic dystopian cyberpunk movies such as Robocop and Judge Dredd.

Titled MiniLAW: Ministry of Law puts you on the role of a Constable, an elite officer within New Babel City, armed with an exo-frame designed to take any threat and crime you face.

Lasso Games described us a bit of the setting: “In the dystopian future city of New Babel, a Constable of the Ministry of Law–a branch of miniFACT–roams the streets imparting justice with an iron fist. Using lethal weapons, non-lethal force, and diplomacy, miniLAW dispatches with perps by any means available.”

You can arm and upgrade your Constable with several kinds of gear and modules, letting you perform superhuman feats like dashing takedowns, damage resist and even self-fibrillation. You can pick what method you want to fulfill your crime cleaning missions, either with lethal or nonlethal takedowns and even negotiate surrenders.

MiniLAW: Ministry of Law is available via Early Access on Steam, with a full release expected for the 2nd quarter of 2017.
