PlayStation VR-Enabled Love-Sim Happy Manager Will Make You Swoon

In a bid to show the entire gaming industry how little they care about the potential offense given from their games, D3 Publisher has announced a glorious fan-service game named Happy Manager.

Developed by Tamsoft, the new game is set for a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR release sometime this winter. Featured above, you can view the game’s debut trailer, which premiered at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

Happy Manager is described as a love simulator in which you take position as the manager of a mansion – where three young ladies reside. Featuring over 28,000 lines of dialogue, players will be able to interact with the ladies in first-person.

Here are the three ladies:

  • Shizuka Sakurai (voice by Mai Nakahara) – 20yrs old. Born to a wealthy family, she typically has a friendly personality, despite occasionally lacking common sense and even doing weird things. She’s now into drinking, because she’s now a legal adult.
  • Barbara Christine Tachibana (voice by Rie Kugimiya) 18yrs old. The youngest of the girls, she appropriately speaks bluntly. As per her mixed heritage, she has experienced some racism. Due to this, she’s not adept at making friends, and she might come off as cold at first.
  • Himari Takeuchi (voice by Hisako Kanemoto) – 21yrs old. The oldest of the ladies, she gets too involved with things she likes and will sometimes forget to sleep and eat properly. After this, she’ll frequently drop whatever she was interested in.

As you spend time with the girls, you’ll be able to observe them stretching in the gym, swimming in the in-house pool, and even “accidentally” bump into them while their changing in the locker room. It’s worth mentioning you can play the game with or without PlayStation VR.

Happy Manager is launching for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR sometime this winter in Japan.
