Playtonic Games recently wrote on their website that Yooka-Laylee will be delayed to the first quarter of 2017 from its original October 2016 release date.

The reason given for the game’s delay is while they believed that they could ship the game for October, they prefer if they could have a few more months to polish the game even further.

Despite the news, they uploaded a brand new E3 trailer for the game as well as handful of new screenshots, showing off the progress they made in one year.

Yooka-Laylee will be releasing for the PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC, Mac and Linux.
