5pb. has announced a new game based on the Plastic Memories anime.

The show is completed its run last year, however the first details for the game will be coming sometime soon.

Platforms weren’t announced – for now you can peruse the game’s newly opened official website.

Actually, the show is not still ongoing. It was a single-cour anime that finished its run in June of 2015.

I hope if will be good and not complete shit like the anime.
Every time I think of the wasted potential for the show, it saddens me. Especially when ideas from /a/ from when the show was airing were much better than what happened.

  • Ah – apologies I’ll update the article!

  • 日塔 奈美

From 5pb.? It’ll be a VN. Standard procedure for them really.

  • Diego Dereshi

I tought they meant that “news are still coming” with that. xD

And yeah, it’s an original anime, not based on anything and finished with 13 episodes.
There’s only a mangá right now telling the story through another character’s view and no one seems to even acknowledge it’s existence. xD

Anyway, it seems like they’ll just turn the anime into a Kinetic Novel, since it’s romance. ^^

    10/10 anime.

  • EroBotan

what is the manga’s title? no one translate it?

oh god please have a better fucking ending that didn’t make me cry like a bitch and actually explain shit. you think a civilization that’s able to make andoids with ai can backup their fucking data but nah.

  • Minuteworld92

mc after 8 episodes in finally gets the idea to see if it’s possible to backup memories, everyone just says “nah, there’s absolutely NO way this advanced civilization can do that. you girl’s gonna dies bro”

  • SuuLoliBoob

Now i’m just picturing a scientist holding a external going “Nah man, their is no way to do that, now give me a minute to look through my backup memory of my computer.”

  • EroBotan

thanks, seems no one is translating it ..

  • EroBotan

all of the build up will be pointless if they can back her up

  • Joan Tesh

    Plastic mammaries? Egads.

Oh memories. That’s ok too. I guess.

  • catazxy

OR an Chobits game. Seriously now, I could go for a new sf game with an android girlfriend. (prob a VN tho)

  • Guin

Finally, we will get the route we deserve, but didn’t get.

  • Guin

The only thing that was really bad was the not Psycho Pass episode and maybe how they didn’t really talk about the world’s lore as much, it just went by the flow.

  • Jack

    Then it’s bad writing

  • Lex

I don’t know that there’s really another story you can tell in that world, but okay.

  • scemar

    robo waifus when tho

  • EroBotan

    lol u funny

  • Minuteworld92

it’s also forced drama. especially if they refuse to explain shit about the world.

  • Minuteworld92

it’s also forced drama. especially if they refuse to explain shit about the world they’ve made…

  • Minuteworld92

the white haired robo girl that was unfairly put to death because of bad writing is the only waifu for me.

  • Minuteworld92

robo girlfriends are the best girlfriends next to siblings. in anime I mean.

  • Minuteworld92

there is no buildup because you know from the start that she’s going to die and that’s exactly what happens. no surprise or anything.

  • EroBotan

    1. the world has different mechanism than ours
    2. it’s impossible with the technology they have to back up the data. I don’t think going through the hardcore scifi route to explain why is a wise move. This is a romance story first, the scifi is just the setting, not the focus.

If you insist that backing up her data should be possible, then what next? Kill the original & boot up the clone? Is that really still her? Her existance is no longer unique

  • Minuteworld92

chobits made backing up data for your androids a thing in 2002 and it has almost the exact same setting.
