“Currently No Plans” to Add Characters/Stages via DLC to Pokken Tournament

For those showing concerns over the launch roster for Pokken Tournament, it seems like Nintendo and developer Bandai Namco aren’t looking to expand it anytime soon.
In a report from Serebii, Nintendo and Bandai Namco have stated they currently have no plans to add characters or stages to the game, post launch via downloadable content.
“It has also been stated that there are currently no plans to release additional Pokémon or stages through downloadable content,” the statement reads.
The entire launch roster for the game includes:
- Blaziken
- Braixen
- Chandelure
- Charizard
- Gardevoir
- Garchomp
- Gengar
- Lucario
- Machamp
- Mewtwo
- Pikachu
- Pikachu Libre
- Sceptile
- Shadow Mewtwo
- Suicune
- Weavile
Pokkén Tournament is launching worldwide for Wii U on March 18th.
