We’ve gotten another look at some of the mechanics and the main characters of Senran Kagura creator Kenichiro Takaki’s new PS Vita game, Uppers.
The new preview comes via Gamer.ne, where we get a look at more of the game’s brawling, as well as the rewards you’ll get to enact upon your adoring lady friends. As we detailed in our previous report, Uppers is a game entirely focused on beat ’em up brawling type combat, and it takes place on a remote island with seemingly no rules.
The input commands are reportedly simplistic, as the game lacks convoluted combo mechanics. You can opt to pummel your enemies into nothing, instead.
You’re not limited to just melee attacks, however, as you can also throw items at them, and even throw them into (and sometimes through) walls. You can also blow them up with helicopters, too?
There are girls who you can win over as you succeed in your brawls. The more you fight, the more they’ll cheer you on, which only contributes to your stamina and advantages in battle.
You’ll also be able to shove your face into their breasts and motorboat them, if you win in front of the ladies.

He lacks any experience in martial arts, however, his intimidating physical appearance and animalistic strength come from his parents. He accompanies his childhood friend Mitsuru to the “Last Resort Island,” and finally realizes how strong he really is.

A hot-blooded man who makes a trip to the Last Resort Island so that he may test his own fighting abilities. Despite his rebellious looks, he is a genuinely friendly person and makes about the same number of friends as he does enemies. He circles around his opponents with quick movements, and he enjoys playing mind games.
Uppers is launching sometime next spring in Japan for PS Vita.
