According to Yacht Club Games, the new and free expansion for their smash hit Shovel Knight will be releasing very soon.

The new expansion will have you playing as Plague Knight, as he embarks on a quest of his own. Plague Knight will play differently from Shovel Knight, as his move set and abilities all stem from alchemy.

Plague Knight will feature new areas, objectives, enemies, and bosses on top of a brand new crafting mechanic via the Alchemy System, which will allow you to pick up loot and use them to craft new gear and power ups.
