• The Fourth Installment of 7th Dragon Gets Its Debut Trailer

    Though we haven’t received any of the three previous 7th Dragon games here in the west – and developer Imageepoch’s closing certainly doesn’t help that any – it isn’t stopping Sega from developing a new game in-house. That new game, titled 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, is due to release this October 15th for the 3DS in Japan. The first trailer showing any kind of footage of the game was just revealed, and you can see the video above.

    The 7th Dragon series is a dungeon-crawling “Wizardry-esque” RPG that looks and plays somewhat similar to Etrian Odyssey and Demon Gaze, which makes you think they’d have capitalized on the genre’s popularity by releasing it stateside…though that hasn’t been the case so far. Still, there is always hope that this changes.
