No, really that is the response we got. We’ll keep you guys posted. Love you guys at Atlus!

[ORIGINAL STORY]

We’ve learned that Legend of Legacy is possibly coming west, via publisher Atlus.

The news comes via the Shin Megami Tensei Network podcast, in which Atlus PR manager John Hardin made an appearance on. When talking about the games they’re currently working on, Hardin let slip they’re localizing the title, around the 47 minute mark:

“We did announce The Legend of Legacy is coming over here, and we have another one in the can too that I can’t talk about just yet. But another really niche Japanese game that actually isn’t out yet, we’re bringing that over for the 3DS later this year. What could it be?”

It’s worth mentioning that Atlus has not confirmed this game for a western release, while they did confirm Stella Glow for North America back in March of this year. Stella Glow isn’t out yet in Japan, so maybe he switched the two games? We’ve reached out to Atlus for a comment.

What do you guys think? Is it exciting to see a bold new 3DS RPG coming west? In case you’ve missed our extensive coverage for Legend of Legacy, you can find that here in our archives.
