Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have given us a look at a brand new feature in their upcoming 3DS-bound sequel, Fire Emblem If.

The game will let you enter the “My Castle” feature, which lets you create, customize, and share your own home base of operations. Featured above, you can view this new feature in action.

Players will be able to set up various workshops like an item shop, a weapon shop, as well as designate some of your companions to work in said workshops. You’ll also be able to interact with your allies and other players, via StreetPass. Upon visiting another players My Castle, you can buy weapons and items that are not available in your own base.

You can also battle other players in their My Castle, with footage showcasing the types of battles you can expect towards the latter end of the above trailer.

Fire Emblem If is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on June 25th, followed by a western release some time next year. In case you’ve missed our thorough coverage of the game, you should get caught up in our archives.
