Koei Tecmo have released two new videos for Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea, which you can watch below.

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea is the final game in the Atelier Dusk trilogy, which “is set on a backdrop of a world slowly coming to its end; a world in the dusk of its life.”

Players can play as either the serious but pure Shallistera, who begins adventuring in order to solve a crisis in her homeland; or as the reckless and straightforward Shallotte, who struggles to make her alchemy workshop successful.

This installment in the RPG series has a new “Environment System”: material collected from the same source can be depleted, which increases its scarcity and makes it more expensive to buy at shops. The battle system focuses on strategy and speed, and the title is less linear than previous installments, as it features sidequests.

Keoi Tecmo previously released six clips for the game that demonstrated its English dubbing. Check those out if you’re curious.

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea will be available for the Playstation 3 on March 10 in North America, and March 13 in Europe.

Dowsing

The first video illustrate the dousing system that Shallistera employs to uncover hidden items in the gameworld. (The other playable character, Shallotte, uncovers items by scrubbing the ground with her broom.)

Synthesis

The second video illustrates the Synthesis system, which players use to craft various items, from weapons to clothing to medicines. Depending on which materials they use, players can transfer different properties to the items they create.
