It was just a short while ago that we reported on news which revealed that GSC Gameworld had come back into being, and as a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan, you could say I was rather excited. Though no confirmation about their first new game being a part of that famed franchise existed, many of us hoped it would be.

While there won’t be a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel anytime soon, it seems GSC Gameworld is reviving another one of their old licenses, that being their real-time strategy title “Cossacks“.

This news came from Joe Willburn of Vostok Games (who also once worked for GSC), who stated he knew this due to “insider information”.
