Manga Gamer is Looking to Translate and Finish the Story in Minori’s Supipara

It’s raining visual novels over here! Manga Gamer confirmed to Niche Gamer just yesterday that Minori’s eden* would be coming to the West via their studio.

Now, we’ve learned that with the profits from that release, Manga Gamer is looking to translate another one of Minori’s offerings, Supipara. To be clear, the studio confirmed that all profits from eden* would be going towards Supipara.

Featured at the top of this article is the opening cinematic for Supipara, and if the artwork didn’t tickle your fancy, the various polish the game itself has will.

Supipara is the culmination of Minori’s expertise in the genre, featuring moving facial expressions, hair that moves naturally, characters with gestures like turning around, and even subtle emotions that further enhance the feeling of live actors.

Here’s the coolest part about this announcement – Manga Gamer is working alongside Minori themselves to finally complete the story within Supipara, as it currently stands incomplete. Due to financial issues, Minori was unable to finish the massive project, which was originally planned as an episodic adventure.

If this plan is realized and enough funding is met through fans purchasing eden*,  not only will Minori finish the lost chapters with Manga Gamer – they’ll release here in the West before Japan.

You read that right – western fans will get their hands on the missing chapters before Japanese fans do. The games will be completely uncensored as well, just in case you were concerned.
