We’ve been catching up on all the little tidbits that have come out of E3 2014, and one of them came from none other than Sony’s own Shuhei Yoshida, the boss of their worldwide studios.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, Shu talked about Bloodborne, and why some games were seemingly missing from the show:

“It’s an amazing experience. It’s beautiful, It’s big and it’s scary, and there’s a lot of blood. It’s so, so awesome.

We wanted to show a lot more, but you know how PR goes.”

He pointed out that the feedback he gets from press and fans is the same – “Consoles are back.”

Yoshida also confirmed that as Sony has a major presence in all the game industry trade shows, they have to hold off revealing some games for other shows:

“We have a long list of things. At the beginning of the year we look at the things we are making, and that possibly we can show off at E3 or Gamescom  or TGS. E3 is big and huge and important, but we want to plan out so that we have really fresh and exciting things to talk about or show at every single big opportunity. We have something for Gamescom and TGS as well.”

Finally, Yoshida also teased that Playstation is only just getting started.
