Mortal Kombat X got its first gameplay tease during Sony’s E3 press conference, but we haven’t gotten an extended look at the game running – that is until now.

Ed Boon took to the official E3 stream for Playstation to show off some new gameplay for Mortal Kombat X, running on Playstation 4. Featured above, you can see just that, and the walkthrough for the game shows off both old and new characters.

We get a look at the new character select screen, which has 24 slots now, as well as four brand new characters: D’Vorah (insect girl), Cassie Cage (Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage’s daughter), Ferra/Torr (a little girl and giant brute), and Kotal Kahn (an Aztec god of war). The walkthrough also shows off the game’s new styles of play for each character.

Mortal Kombat X is set for a release some time next year.
