Enemy Front, the new next-generation World War II game from City Interactive, uploaded a new trailer to show off it’s interesting stealth mechanics being introduced into the game. Previous trailers have showed a hybrid of elements the game will introduce, such as a full-fledged explosive shooting to snping and using the environment.

In addition, the trailers have showed large levels with many options to approach. Here, we get to see how stealth and night time operations will perform in the game. As featured in the trailer above, players can shoot out lights to maintain darkness, monitor enemy patrols, and even take Nazi soldiers hostage in an effort to maintain precise infiltration. Oh, and the’res that knife too.

The game is being touted by City Interactive as the first true next-generation World War II shooter at a time where we haven’t seen one in years, save for Sniper Elite V2 from 2012. The game is being built around elements that have been seen in games such as Far Cry, where players have much more open, sandbox style levels that allow for all manners of actions to be taken. Whether you use stealth, take out a fuel truck from afar, plant explosives to make a distraction, or go in guns-blazing, the choice is entirely up to you.

To make matters more interesting, the premise is that you are an American Correspondent for the Allies, assigned to penetrate deep into enemy lines and investigate what has been happening in occupied countries across Europe.

Enemy Front continues to looks very impressive with its new approach to World War II action games.  Enemy Front is slated for release on June 10th here in the U.S for the PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam. Check them out on Facebook and Twitter. Also, check out their other games, including Sniper: Ghost Warrior, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, and Alien Rage.  And remember to be very very quiet when using stealth in anything you do.
