Who says that fanservice doesn’t sell? Grasshopper Manufacture has announced that Lollipop Chainsaw has surpassed a million global sales.

In celebration of this new milestone, Grasshopper is discounting the download versions of the game on each platform in Japan from 3000 yen to 2800 yen on PS3 and Xbox 360 (respectively) down to 1000 yen on both platforms, starting on April 1st. Both discounts will run until April 30th.

Sadly, no word has been made of whether or not this discount will make it to Western shores, but we’ll see. Lollipop Chainsaw was release in June of 2012.
