Indie retro overhead shooter and tongue-in-cheek 80s tribute Hotline Miami was a huge success, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that a sequel will be following it. According to a tweet by the game’s twitter account, the sequel will be released this coming third quarter.

Devolver Digital followed up the initial tweet by answering a fan’s questions about what platforms the game would be seen on, which points to a PC, Mac, and Linux release. Devolver Digital also added that they were, quote, “hoping to launch on PS4, PS3, and Vita at the same time but not certain that will happen.”
