Introducing A New Cyberpunk RPG: Ama’s Lullaby

With CD Projekt’s 2077, Shadowrun Returns and Dex all getting widespread attention, it seems that William Gibson’s dystopian ideas about the future will be getting a lot of play in the coming year. Adding to that crowded list of cyberpunk RPGs is another one, Ama’s Lullaby.

Most of the work being done is related to environment, models, and the user interface…presumably because it is being staffed by a very small team that is desperately in search of coders to balance out the work load. The creator is currently asking for help, so if you know your way around game development and you like the idea, head over to the aforementioned Facebook link and drop them a line.

That being said, the game looks very much like the old 90’s early 2000’s CRPGs current Kickstarters tend to emulate, what with the isometric look and quasi-RTS aesthetic. Though it may be quite some time until we see the game, it’s something to look forward to if you’re a cyberpunk fan or even just a fan of oldschool CRPGs in general.
